This morning, I woke up to the news that we have had yet another mass shooting in America. Ten police officers in Baton Rouge were shot at a BLM rally. As of right now, three are dead but the death toll is expected to rise.
I'm tired of this shit. I'm so fucking tired. I'm tired of people keeping their right to bear arms alive even if it means 100+ people dying a day as a side effect. I'm tired of people getting murdered because of their sexual and gender preference. I'm so tired of people getting slaughtered because of their religion. I'm so tired of some police officers murdering black men, women, and children because of their phenotype. I'm so tired of some people retaliating by killing innocent police officers as if that somehow makes things better. That's not justice, that's murder.
I'm tired of people dying. Needlessly.
I'm so tired of people saying "guns don't kill people, people kill people!"
A gun is designed to hurt someone. That's it's only purpose. To cause injury. I'm tired of people hiding behind the second amendment to justify these events. The guns we have today are not the same ones they had when that piece of paper was drafted.
And what tires me out most of all, is that almost no one is doing anything to stop this.
I guess this is the world we have to live in now.
