Hi, I'm Orange Yoda, and I have an idea that we should have userboxes on this wikia. The only userbox there is right now is the Administration userbox. Some userboxes could be:Your favourite Sim,Your favourite Game,Your favourite Blueprint/Scroll and Your favourite kart from MySims Racing. Do you like it?

I saw a different wiki that had them, that's where I thought of it. They are sorta like Userboxes because they are bars with pics, and you put them on a talk page like a gift, like we could have a acquaintance, friend, best friend gifts with those pics that say "Congratulations You Received The (Example) Gift", we could also have, like, simoleon gift box with that pic, and various essences, or the wandoilor-wand, etc. Go [[1]] and search for User Gifts to learn more. You can think about it.
I saw this on both the Banjo Kazooie/ Star Wars Fanon wikis. You can check out the emoticons that are from the Star Wars Fanon wiki here. This is exactly the smilies from the Banjo Kazooie wiki (they copied it from SWF). It's like smilies from MSN/E-Mail.

Since there's lots of talking on blogs today, should we make forums? I saw a Wiki, the Total Drama Wiki, which had forums. I figured this may be good, since there's LOTS of blogs with LOTS of comments.
I was thinking... it's kind of lame, but I was thinking of a new kind of userbox that has a list of achievements from the games like: This user has reached star level 5 in MySims! and stuff like that.
Ok so I had an idea that great and helpful users should be noticed. So if you have done a great job and feeling like nobody notice it you should approve the wall of famousness! Other users will nominate a user to be put on the wall and if other people agree with them the person nominated gets their name on the wall! If there is any fights between some of the users I will take it under my wing so no need to worry everyone! This will be a cridea-like poll and only users and admins, not random users, can vote. So thank you for reading this message.
If this cridea is approved, the MySims Wiki Council will be obviously...a council of users on the Wiki who can get together to discuss matters occurring on the Wiki, which, as you see, is kind of like an equivalent of the admins and the admin talk page. Only, the council will also include ordinary users, ones who have no administrative powers to be able to discuss with admins on important, vital decisions. One example of an important decision is the election of a new admin. Just a regular poll that allows ANYONE to vote would be rather untrustworthy, seeing as people can just create multiple accounts or use proxies to make their opinion the winning, final decision. With the council, only trusted members and the admins can vote.
The council will consist of ONLY trusted, approved users, and admins. We are still considering where we will set up our meeting place (which is to not be seen by other users not members of the council, and members of the council are to not reveal the location of our secret meeting place to non-members), which I believe we should discuss on the Crideas talk page. I am considering that we create a Wiki with I dunno...a very strange link name, or I create a website...? (This will also be a point of discussion.) New members can be elected, but must have the approval of most members (based entirely on votes). I am also thinking about how we will transfer the site name to each member (maybe by e-mail, but I believe some of our members may not have their own e-mail address).
In order to ensure that the entire wiki is being represented well, and that many ideas are being put into action, we will form a MySims Wiki Council (maybe). This Council will hold meetings on a regular basis and discuss potential improvements to the wiki, ideas, problems, etc. This will not only help improve the wiki, but it will help the admins get feedback, new ideas, etc.
This council will consist of Admins, Rollbacks, Trusted Users, and Summer (me). If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please ask on the talk page.

Let's have a daily MySims Comic Strip. Every day there will be a different three-slide story in the world of MySims. It should be on the front page. I just don't know who will customize the strip......

So I noticed on The Sims Wiki that they have userboxes that show which games you have, and I was thinking maybe we could have it too. Like since there are multiple platforms for each game, we could have something like this: "[User name here] loves MySims so much, they have all the versions of it!" or like for each platform, or "[user name here] has all the MySims games!" so uh thats my idea.
Should we make some sort of MySims Wiki newspaper? It can be sort of like ze Neopian Times on Neopets. We could incorporate it with the comics, like on Neopian Times. The MySims Wiki News Flash can also be integrated with it. People can submit random articles about going-ons in the MySims World, stuff that happens on the Wiki, or news about shows. I dunno. Anyone can try to submit something, but only the most interesting things get accepted. A new issue can be distributed either every season or month.

Just a little idea I thought of. We could start holding elections and have vice-admins. Here is how they work.
Vice-Admins: A vice-admin is like an admin, and can discuss in the admins talk page, but the choices they make must be approved by an admin in order to do something final. Example: In banning a user, they are aloud to ban, but an admin can un-ban. Vice-Admins must be a trusted user for at least one month and must be appointed by an admin.
Elections: Elections should be held every couple of months. The vice-admins have a chance at becoming an admin. Admins must decide on at least 2 people to run in an election for a spot at an admin postiotion. Only admins, and if it's approved, MySims Wiki Council members are aloud to vote in the elections. Majority rules. If the loser throughs a fit or is running a dirty campaign, they must be removed from their Vice-Admin powers and out of the election, and the other person wins the admin spot.

Thanks Points are points giving out from users to other users for things they have done. In order to give out thanks points, you must be a user to do this feature. No IPs are allowed. IPs can't have or give out Thanks Points. Log in as a user instead. Also, you must have a good reason of why you want to give out a thanks point. Please don't give out Thanks Points to yourself. To give a Thanks Point, you must use the image on the right. Finally, if you reached the one hundred Thanks Points milestone, you may get recognition on the main page (I must ask Blanky and if the cridea is even accepted)! *For a location to put your thanks points, put them like this: User:(put username)/Thanks Points (don't do this until the cridea is either accepted or declined).
So I was just browsing a few of the user pages around here a few minutes ago, and saw some people who've listed their friends on MySims Wiki! I think it totally sucks that we don't have like, y'know, official buddy lists here on Wikia! So I was just thinking...how about we have like some sort of template created for people who want to put a list of their buddies on their profile? Make it so that the table can list up to about 20 friends! Also, you can customize the colors of the table, add pictures of each friend, and maybe even put like your friendship level with the person, plus comments! So what do you think? Do you guys like my idea? ^^ If you guys have any other extra cool ideas for this, feel free to suggest~

I know more then once, I have read a blog. I then wanted to go back to it, but I didn't know teh creator of teh blog nor where to find it, which has give meh an idea tha we need a blog searcher. It's an eaiser way to find blogs. All you have to do is type in "The Athuor" and "Key Words" ((Note: You don't have to put in both)) and look through teh blog searcher and find the blog you are looking for.

Hey, my idea is kinda similar to Holli's with the Vice-Admin thing, but different. Here it is:
An admin decides a user has really contributed to the Wiki. The user does not have enough edits to be an admin. So the admin gives the user more rights, but not all admin rights. Such as, say, being able to edit pages that the non-admins can't edit (example: character information and the main page) and also blocking pages so people can't edit them. (example: Word Bubble templates and their user page) Here's an example:
BlankyXP decides Wii maniac should be an admin. Wii, however, only has 700 edits. (I know he has more, but this is an example) So Blanky lets him do the things listed above. However, if Wii abuses his power, (example: by blocking his favorite Sim's page so only he can edit it) he would be banned or not allowed to be an admin. I don't know what the admins would think is best.

We should make a Tag template. It's a template you put on people's talk page. If someone posts the template on your talk page, you have to tell us one thing we don't know about you/something random (but nothing too personal) on your user page under a section called "Tags".

Ok so heres my idea... we should make info boxes for the festivals in Party. The subheading things could be like: Hosted by, Minigames etc. I think it will make it a bit more clearer to read.

We should have a template so that you can actually put in the username of the user reading a page. For instance, you make a page saying "Hello {{USERNAME}}! Thanks for viewing my user page!" and then Blanky reads my page so now it says: "Hello BlankyXP! Thanks for viewing my user page!". For more info, see here.
This is something I got off of the Suite Life wiki. It's kind of like an achievment system, where it has a leaderboard and points. The points are displayed on your userpage at the top right (where it displays your contributions). For more details see here. Your not supposed to see this either! Now go away!

We should have a hit counter for the user pages and the main page on the wiki. Y'know when you want to see how many people have visited your user page and stuff also, a board of who has visited your page and when (If thats possible) would be good too. Also, I was thinkin we could do something like a status template but for the games we play, like for the original MySims and stuff. It could show how long we've played n'stuff.

Stvn Here, so I was thinking we should have like clubs that consist of multiple users who like get together at a certain time.
Here is an example:
Many users like a user named Rex9234 (there is no user named that, but this is an example) and he has 20 users on his buddy list, so he starts "Club Rex" and they orgainze gatherings on the wiki at certain times for roleplaying and stuff, they can also meet up extrneally.

Us Wikians have pretty much forgotten about the features, so... I SAY WE START OVER! We delete all history from features, and have features like the ones at TDI Camps Wiki. We have ze following section as well.
Featured Sim: We take teh best Sim articles. Yeah..
Featured Article: We showcase teh best articles.
Featured Fanon: We can do show fanons and Sim fanons. Each month, we do a great fanon that many users like.
Featured User: We should be able to thank the users that do good. I mean, how come most of us can be very mature and not babyish, but we are worried that we are going to get into a fight? That doesn't make sense. If TDI Camps can have a featured user, so can we.
In order to insure each Feature has a fair right in winning, us users decide. Example. To vote, you must have at least, well, let's move it up to 200-500 edits. We must have a good explaintion, not just "Too new", "Rather someone/something else to win", and etc.. And... Well... That's all. i was thinkin we could have a youtube channel, where we could post game trailers and walkthrues. it just gets teh site more into teh outside world... instead of being isolated at wikia. Admins, rolls, and other trusted users will be e-mailed the password. ppl who dont have it will be contacted on an inactive wiki.

looking at some other wikis, I noticed that they have pages on staff of like TV shows or video games. So I was thinking we could too. Maybe get a picture of them and a brief description of what they do... I know we don't really get much info about the staff other than Miss Tsai who left MySims. I'm not entirely sure if this would be a good idea but ya...

Hi, I was thinking (If it has not been done before), we should make a page(Or a blog post) on what should happen for the wiki, like advertising, new things ect. What happens is people place in ideas in diffrent categories (Like new templates and stuff) and the 3 top ideas from each category get put into a poll and people can vote for the changes. Only members who have been here about a month or people who have so many edits can place ideas or vote. It will be kinda like the suggestions page but everyone would have their say so its fair.

Puffles says, I did this a long time ago on a blog. I was wondering if we can have Snowflake Awards! They're just these awards with a shape of a snowflake. They are kinda mainly for edit milestones, but anyone could make them! If this is excepted I'll make the page.
My idea is to have club userboxes were you can put Autumm is a member of the Anime Club and President userboxe,Vic President Secetary, and Treasurer Userboxes i think its great idea but i don't know what you think?
Okay this idea is sooooo obvious that I'm surprised no-one has mentioned it before. We need a page that says what is and isn't allowed on the wiki and like a log of users who have been banned (so if they do it again then we know that it happened before) Okay his is not making as much sense as it did in my head. So what do you say?
This is a template that goes on the top of every single game page (except MySims Camera, since it's not really a game). It is a navigation template for games. I know my idea is bland and all, but you can see an example here where I made images and everything!

How about a puzzle page for the front page? This would have been a better idea for when we were gonna do the gazette but ANYWAY, on the front page we could have some weekly puzzles, there will be different types like logical ones, mathamatical, etc. You can post your suggestions on the page (not on the front page, though) and the first person with the correct answer wins a special userbox/trophy/name on front page. It will be good for the community AND fun! If you want, I can organise it all with someone because I don't mind if I don't get a prize.
This cridea is so seriously in need, I'm not even using a userbox. Click random Page just three times. Most likely, at least one of those will be a stub. We have so many stubs and nothings is being done about them. Now look, I'm not pinning blame here because I often don't edit very much either. Now look ow, look at the recent edits done. Sure a few of them are from today and were by me. But on most days, we get usually around five mainspace edits. And usually they are very small and give no greater value to the actual article. So what if we organized and united to edit these articles and make them better? That is what projects is about. Go here to see the Bulbapedia projects. Basically, we make a special place to turn in Project ideas, we get others to join in the project and they slowly edit articles to improve them until every article is up to standards set by the project. Once it is completer, the project can be closed, but not deleted.

This is basically like the MySims Wiki Chat and the IRC Channel, but I find this to be much more convenient then both.
If you don't know what Xat is, this is it. It's a chat, and I propose we have an official MySims Wiki Xat.
All admins will be labeled as Creators (excluding myself, as I will have created it myself). A few trusted users will be labeled as moderators.
Lemme know what you think, and if you want me to expand on the idea.

OKAY! A GREAT IDEA HAS POPPED INTO MY HEAD! Let's do the first annual MySims Wiki Awards! It'll be awards dedicated to the Shows and Roleplays that air on the webstie, along with other things outside of the Wiki, such as movies and TV Shows. IT MUST BE SOMETHING THAT AIRED, STARTED, OR HAPPENED THIS YEAR. A select group of people would choose the nominations and then the whole wiki would vote. I would like to avoid awarding users personally, but if the wiki wants that, then so be it. So.....PLZ AGREE!

Hey MySims Wikia, I don't have a user but if this is approved I'd consider starting one to kick off the page. Anyway, my idea is a page dedicated to posting users' unique furniture items/houses/house designs they're particularly proud of, and people could then comment on them or get inspired! Tell me what you think.

It's officially been two years since the Calendar was updated, and from what I understand it was a pain to even do so. I was thinking we could revive it in a much simpler, easier-to-edit format, and I've already mentioned this in my most recent blog post, but I thought it was definitely worth mentioning here.
It might be a bit difficult figuring out the coding for something like this, but I'm willing to help with it. Basically, if you haven't read the blog or didn't click the link, we would split the months of the calendar up into separate templates (of course, using some kind of graph/chart as a base to make it resemble a calendar, and tweaking it to suit our needs from then on.) It would make it much easier to edit them individually as well as swap them out on the main page, plus, as I said in the blog, since MySims might not be making a return anytime soon it could be safe to list stuff irrelevant to it (once again, in order to both keep users and attract new ones.) Quoting the blog, we could list dates that the wiki's community generally agrees are of interest, such as Sm4sh DLC or information on The Sims. I'd love to get more involved with the wiki and this seemed like an appropriate first step...oh, and sorry if this is a wall of text. If you have any questions, direct them to my talk page.
