An existential blog of sorts.
It's been over 8 years since I've set foot on this wiki for the first time.
Back in 2010 the wiki was thriving.
2012-2014, it was still thriving, but the end of the MySims series gave an air of uncertainty in the wiki's future.
Now it's 2018, and the wiki is effectively dead.
Who's left?

We seem to only have 6 users left - will we be able to rebuild? I could probably convince some people on Discord to help bring this place back to its knees, could that help us out?

Holy shnikes, is the wiki dead after all these years?
Didn't expect to come back to find this. I don't even remember any of the emoticon codes or I'd be spamming them. I'm a little sad but it makes sense after so much time without real news on the series, it's only natural for everyone to move on at some point. But hot damn, last comment on the word association game was like nearly six months ago now. I feel old. Will anyone even read this?
The Weirdest Thing I've Seen in MySims Kingdom!!
Okay, so I don't know if anybody caught this or not, but I'll go ahead and explain it anyway.
So, I was playing MySims Kingdom yesterday, (probably you could say Sunday by the time anybody reads this), and I'm on Cowboy Junction trying to find clues for Ginny's task, "Support Your Local Sheriff," and when I was on the mountaintop where Rusty is, believe it or not, I literally saw Rusty walk up to Buddy and start juggling those red ball things in front of him. I'm not joking, this isn't a prank, it's not April Fools, that's exactly what I saw PERIOD. I tried to get him to do it again so I could take a picture of it to show you guys, but unfortunately, that did NOT work. But, I am telling the truth here.

I HAVE BEEN SUCKED INTO THE SIMS 4 AND I JUST HAVE BEEN REMINDED HOW MUCH I MISS THIS PLACE AHHHHHH
So yeah, im late to the party. So much things are going on and ive just been watching the world crumble here in the U.S. Besides that, I noticed some easter eggs in the sims 4 and found some sims that sound/look familiar and its really interesting to see the little blocky babes we know and love look like actual human beings!

Between us, my brother and I now own every MySims game! (Well, excluding MySims Mobile, I doubt anyone in 2018 has that, and MySims Wii, which we did own but it cacked out at star level 1 - but it's basically the same as the PC version anyway, which my brother has. And MySims Party DS we just can't get our hands on - ah well) So yeah, I may have jumped the gun a bit there O_o

I've Had It... Officially!
Ok so I'm here to rant a little and to also ask for some much needed help. Recently, I decided to go back to an old save file on MySims Party Wii, and I realized that I'm missing 7 playable characters that can be added to your team during festivals/minigames, but I just cannot seem to unlock them after immense hours of playing. The characters are:
- Matt
- Chaz Mcfreely
- Sasha
- Patrick
- Stephen
- Brendan
- Master Aran
I read online that in order to unlock Matt, Chaz, and Patrick, you need to score 80 or more points on their minigames, but I just cannot figure out how, like what's your guys' strategies when playing their minigames? Also, how am I supposed to unlock the other 4 when they host team challenges where you can only unlock fruits instead of scoring…

I am back, but only for a short moment and it is NOT one of my nostalgia trips. If you're an American user, you know what I'm talking about.
So, not too long ago, the head of the FCC, Ajit Pai, has issued a dream to end the Net Neutrality rules that were issued as of 2015, two years from now. For those younger users who have no idea what I'm blabbing about, Net Neutrality means having free Internet access, without having to pay extra for certain little things. However, without Net Neutrality, this means you have to pay monthly fees to access certain websites (ex. Well, it's official. 10 years since MySims was first introduced.
I'm at a loss for words right now... it's been a great 10 years in game history for sure.
I have nothing else to say.
Here's to the next 10 years, if we can keep the ball rolling for that much longer.
